Welcome to My New The Effects of Music Blog

Hey all welcome to my new blog.

My name is Banae Fitzgerald and this is my second semester at Eastern Kentucky University as a freshman. At the end of my academic career at Eastern Kentucky University I hope to graduate with a Bachelor’s in Nursing. Afterwards, I would like to work in a Doctor’s Officer rather than a Hospital because of the solid hours. I love a lot of different music whether it be Jazz, Classical, Rap/ Hip Hop, Gospel, Contemporary, Oldies, and Blues, If I am watching T.V. I am most likely watching The Office, anything with Shemar Moore or Grey’s Anatomy. Lastly if I am not watching T.V. or listening to music I am probably singing.

On to talking about my expectations and feelings about this class. I am very excited to be creating a website and being responsible for a topic that is so relatable and very Intresting no matter who you identify as  it is pretty much impossible not to be affected by or interact with. Music can be personal, social, and even cultural, national, and international. Music can be so much to so many people it can mean anything and it can mean nothing. Music is a collective inspired by life and death, love and hate, being rich or being poor, and the kinds gains and losses we have living life.

I will be talking about the Effects of Music on the Brain. Zeroing in on the types of music you want to listen to when you are happy or sad, when you are just falling for somebody or found yourself on the rebound. Researching how the brain is affected trying to learn if the effects are more scientific dealing with brain chemistry and the chemicals that may produce the emotions that we feel when we listen to music.
